The Way To Have Fellowship
There’s only two faculties that govern a human, and one of them is—is faith, which brings results; and the other is fear, which has no value in it at all. Faith is of God. Fear is of the devil. Fear makes you weary; fear makes you wonder. And if I was going to die in the morning, what good would it do me to get all stewed up about it? What if I was going to be electrocuted in the morning, and my life had to end tomorrow morning, what good would that do me to worry about it?
“Well,” you say, “what good would it do to have faith?” Faith can sign my pardon, sure; there’s value in faith. Don’t be weary; don’t be scared; don’t be upset; just have faith and believe. And the only way you can have faith, you have to have love first, for love produces faith. For perfect love… Get it. Perfect love casts out all fear.
I WENT AFTER A BROTHER
NOT LONG AGO,
HAD WENT ASTRAY.
A YOUNG FELLOW SAID TO ME,
SAID, “LET THAT RASCAL GO.
LET HIM ALONE.”
I SAID,
“IF I EVER GET TO A PLACE
THAT MY HEART
DON’T GO
WITH MY BROTHER,
THEN IT’S TIME
FOR ME
TO GO TO
THE ALTAR,
BECAUSE
I’VE FALLEN
FROM GRACE.”
I SAID, “I’LL GO AS LONG
AS HE’S GOT BREATH
IN HIS BODY,
and I’LL CATCH HIM
SOMEWHERE
ALONG THE LINE.”
YES, SIR.
And I CAUGHT HIM,
HALLELUJAH,
BROUGHT HIM BACK.
Yes, sir. HE’S BACK
IN THE FOLD
SAFELY
NOW.
Yes, sir.
HE WOULD HAVE WENT
ASTRAY
AS SURE
AS THE WORLD.

I would rather have a church that knows nothing about any spiritual gift and just is so in love with each other and with Christ, I’d rather have that than every spiritual gift operating in the church. Now, that might sound hard in a Pentecostal group, but I would rather have it. Where there are gifts, they’ll fail. Where there are gifts, they’ll bring confusion.
Where there are gifts, they can be questioned. But where there is love, it is perfect. That’s right. And if you had perfect love you’d have perfect gifts. That’s right. So work first with love. That brings fellowship, and fellowship brings gifts.
REMEMBER THE OTHER BROTHER’S PULLING FOR SOME COVER TOO.
THE BLANKET’S BIG ENOUGH
FOR BOTH OF YOU.
GOD MADE IT THAT WAY.
DON’T JERK IT ALL
and WRAP YOURSELF UP IN IT
and SAY,
“FREEZE TO DEATH.”
IF YOU’RE COLD,
LET ME HELP YOU.
WHEN IT COMES TO A PLACE
YOU DON’T WANT TO HELP A FALLEN BROTHER……
YOU THINK HE’S FALLEN,
HELP HIM SOME WAY;
STAND BETWEEN THE GAPS.
GAP UP THE WAY
WITH LOVE.
THAT’S THE CEMENT
THAT PUTS THE CHURCH TOGETHER,
IS THE CEMENT
OF GOD’S HOLY LOVE
AMONG BRETHREN.
“This will all men know you’re My disciples” when you belong to the Assemblies?
“All men know you’re My disciples when…” ’cause you’re Oneness, cause you’re Church of God?
“This will all man know you’re My disciples WHEN YOU HAVE LOVE ONE FOR THE OTHER.”
THAT’S WHEN THEY WILL KNOW;
THAT’S WHEN THEY WILL KNOW
THAT WE’RE CHRISTIANS.
THAT’S WHEN THE WORLD WILL KNOW
THAT WE’RE BRETHREN and SISTERS,
WHEN WE HAVE
LOVE ONE FOR ANOTHER.
THAT’S THE MARK OF CHRISTIANITY,
IS LOVE ONE FOR ANOTHER.
WHEN WE GET THAT,
THEN GOD WILL BEGIN
TO WORK AMONG US
and BRING MILK, HONEY, GREAT THINGS.
WHY, IT’S GOOD
WHEN WE FIND
WHAT GOD’S PLAN
and MOVE INTO IT.
