Anything that gets between you & God is an idol. God is the only One we should worship!

       YOU SAY YOU’RE NOT AN IDOLATER but you qualify if you go to church & after you get home, you do NOTHING about IT.  

       A true Born Again Christian CAN’T HOLD THEIR PEACE!  They CAN’T SIT STILL!  They have to TESTIFY!  

       You may have felt God’s Spirit,

but what kind of ground did IT fall on?

       Never BASE your faith on A SENSATION!  

       You say that other churches are cold & formal, but what difference does it make if you’re not the RIGHT KIND OF VESSEL FOR THE SPIRIT TO FALL ON?  

       There’s a way that seems right

to a man, But its end is the way of death.  

       Look at Cain.  He worshipped just like Abel, but IT WAS IN VAIN!

       You say you’re sincere?  That doesn’t have one thing

to do with it. 

       You can offer ABSOLUTELY TRUE WORSHIP, BUT IT’S IN VAIN IF YOU’RE NOT BORN AGAIN!

W M B ~ Our nation all, it’s greatly covered over with idolatry. 

We might not worship wooden animals and so forth, as we want to think of idolatry, but THAT’S NOT ALL IDOLATRY CONSISTS OF. 

We sometimes make our AUTOMOBILES, and our CLOTHES, and THE THINGS THAT WE DO we put as idols. 

ANYTHING BETWEEN YOU AND GOD IS AN IDOL. 

Sometime we make our churches idols. We should never do that. God is the only One we should worship.

W M B ~ Brother, don’t you NEVER BASE YOUR FAITH UPON SOME LITTLE SENSATION, upon a church order, upon taking communion, upon eating from the spiritual Rock.

You say, “I know this, brother. I have tasted God.” 

That may be just exactly true. But WHAT KIND OF A PLACE HAS IT FALLEN IN? 

That’s the next thing. WHAT KIND OF A BUCKET DID IT COME INTO? “

Just and unjust.” 

Now listen. Now these…were examples, to the intent that WE SHOULD NOT LUST AFTER EVIL THINGS, as they also lusted.

What was their lust? 

Now, listen, I want to get just a little bit further, if you’ll excuse me.

NEITHER BE YE IDOLATERS,…

Oh, you say, “I thank God, I’m not an idolater.” Wait just a minute. Let’s examine it by the Word. You say, “I wouldn’t worship an idol.” 

That doesn’t altogether mean you worship an idol. You just have to be idle, doing nothing. Go to church, “Yeah, that’s all right.” Go back home, do nothing about It.

Brother, a real born-again man or woman can’t stand still. There is Something in them. They’ve got to testify. 

They got to do something. They are bound to do something. They can’t hold their peace. Listen.

Neither be ye idolaters, as (they) were some of them; as it is written, The people sat down to eat and drink, and rose up to play.

What’s Paul talking about? Examples. They were baptized into the church. They absolutely had a correct baptism. 

Once; three times forward; backward; in the name of Father, Son, Holy Ghost; Jesus only; whatever it was, they had a correct baptism, they were baptized right. 

We fuss and stew, and argue about little things like that. WHAT GOOD DOES IT DO? 

YOU’RE LEAVING OFF THE MAIN PRINCIPLE. Our churches have SEPARATED, over baptism. Certainly.

Then you say, “Oh, hallelujah! They haven’t got the spiritual blessing we have. They’re so cold, formal. Glory to God, I eat the real Manna of God. I know It’s Truth.” 

That’s exactly the truth, but what difference does that make? You say, “Brother, I…The—the Holy Ghost really falls in our church.” 

That’s good, but what difference does it make to you, if you’re not the right kind of a vessel It’s falling in? Remember.

Oh, you say, “I’m sincere.” So were they. They left their homes and went out, even put their neck out, for death to follow. They did a lot more than what we have to do. THAT DIDN’T HAVE ONE THING TO DO WITH IT. Just think.

The Bible said, “In vain do they worship Me. In vain do they worship Me.” ABSOLUTELY TRUE WORSHIP, IN VAIN. Where did it begin at? 

Plumb from the garden of Eden, Cain. He worshipped God just the same as Abel did, but in vain he worshipped Him. Yes, sir. “There is a way that SEEMETH RIGHT unto a man.”

You say, “Well, why is it? 

︎Now I’ve repented. 

Why is it I’m not all right? 

︎I REPENTED. 

︎I think I’m just as good as anybody else.

︎I GO TO CHURCH. 

︎I been BAPTIZED. 

︎I get the blessings of God. 

︎I love a good sermon. 

︎I love the Word of God. 

︎I like to read It

︎And I get spiritual blessings, too. 

︎And, hallelujah, I can prophecy. 

︎I can speak with tongues. 

︎I’ve done all the things, 

AND YOU MEAN TO SAY ‘IT’S IN VAIN ’?”

Now, I’m not saying it’s in vain, but it’s possible that it could be in vain. That’s right. IT DEPENDS ON WHAT YOU ARE IN THERE, that’s right, is WHAT YOU ARE that’s receiving this. 

IF YOU’RE NOT BORN AGAIN, if there’s not actually SOMETHING IN YOU, then it’s in vain. All the blessings, I have not to do. Now just one more.

       We CAN’T SEE the chains that bind us to BINGE WATCH SHOWS, WATCH MOVIES & SPORTS, WORK TO MAKE MORE MONEY, HEAR UNGODLY MUSIC, PLAY VIDEO GAMES, SEX, VIEWING TikToks, etc. 

       Can you identify THE ENEMY? 

He has woven himself so well into everything we do.  

       BE VIGILANT because he has the best INSURGENTS out there to blow our MIND, which is exactly where the battle is lost or won. 

       YOUR MASTER is the one you GIVE YOUR FREE TIME TO. TELL ME WHAT OCCUPIES YOUR TIME & I’ll tell you who your master is?

       IDOLATRY is anything that takes your focus away from God!

Companies pay MILLIONS for a 30 second commercial, because they know how effective PROGRAMMING is. 

PROGRAMMING isthe process of instructing or learning by means of an instructional program. 

ENTERTAINMENT is a diversion that uses amusement or enjoyment to offer a temporary ESCAPE from reality.  It desensitizes people & lulls them to sleep. 

AMUSEMENT is a form of diverting one’s attention away from something.
