What is the purpose of the high priest breastplate?

According to The Book of Exodus, the Breastplate is termed as the Breastplate of Judgement because of the Urim and Thummim (Lights and Perfection) which was according to the Hebrew Bible are the Elements of the Hoshen .

In that the Breastplate was Worn by the High Priest attached to the Ephod. They are Connected with the Divination in General Clemorancy in Particular. Most Scholars of the World Suspect that the Phrase refers to the two Objects used by the High Priest to answer a Question or Reveal the Will of God.

The Urim and Thummim was First Appeared in the Exodus 28:30

And thou shalt put in the breastplate of judgment the Urim and the Thummim; and they shall be upon Aaron’s heart, when he goeth in before the LORD: and Aaron shall bear the judgment of the children of Israel upon his heart before the LORD continually.
